Acanthus is all soft movement: a flowing, leafy scroll in gentle yellow, peach and hazy grey on a pale ground. Inspired by the acanthus leaf that winds through so much decorative art, it has a painterly, almost watercolour quality that feels calm and a little bit special.
Each wash bag is hand block printed in Jaipur using traditional carved wooden blocks, then quilted from beautifully soft 100% cotton with a wipeable lining and interior pocket: made to keep your make up, skincare and travel bits beautifully organised. The zip is finished with a hand tied cotton bow, a little detail I love.
As with everything block printed by hand, slight variations in the print are part of its charm and a sign of the human hand behind it.
