A little stash of Christmas past 🎄
We’ve unearthed a handful of our Christmas tablecloths from previous collections and, rather than leave them sitting on the shelf, we’re offering them at a very special seconds price.
These are seconds for a reason. Some have small marks or imperfections in the hand printing, and the colours in these particular prints are not especially wash-fast and will fade noticeably when washed, even on a gentle cycle. Please bear this in mind before buying.
They’re perfect if you’re looking for a beautiful, colourful tablecloth for Christmas Day, festive parties or occasional use and don’t mind it developing a much softer, faded appearance over time.
But they’re also brilliant for getting creative with. Essentially, you’re getting a wonderfully big piece of colourful, hand-block-printed cotton in festive stripes. We’ve used seconds ourselves to create Christmas market backdrops and even had an enormous festive bow made from one.
Think tablecloths, gift wrapping, bows, bunting, backdrops, tree skirts, window displays, market stalls or whatever else you can dream up.
As always, they were printed by hand in India, so you can expect all the character and irregularity that comes with the process.
The price reflects both the imperfections and the fading, and seconds are sold with these characteristics clearly noted.

Care Note - Please Read
The natural pigments in our hand block printed cotton will mellow and soften over time, especially strong, deep colours. Colours mellow beautifully with washing: reds soften into vintage warmth, and gold stars take on a gentle, burnished glow. This is part of their handmade charm, but to keep your colours at their best for longer, wash sparingly and always very gently.
To keep your piece at its best:
- Hand washing is recommended.
- If machine washing, use a delicates cycle at 20-30°C maximum.
- Wash with mild detergent only: no bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Air dry only, out of direct sunlight.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Iron on a cool setting, on the reverse side.
