Yellow Leaf Tablecloth | Perfectly Imperfect

Our Perfectly Imperfect pieces are exactly that… beautiful handmade tablecloths that didn’t quite meet my standards for full-price stock.

This cheerful yellow leaf design may have one or more of the following:
• Small specks or marks picked up during finishing or ironing
• The occasional tiny smudge or transfer mark
• Areas where the block printing is a little softer or less crisp than I’d like
• Minor printing irregularities beyond what I’d usually accept for full-price block print

None of these affect the use of the tablecloth. They’re purely cosmetic, and in my opinion they’re the sort of marks that disappear into everyday life once the table is laid with plates, flowers and food.

If you love handmade textiles, don’t mind the odd little imperfection and would rather save a beautiful piece from going to waste, this one’s for you.

In fact, one lovely customer bought several of my imperfect tablecloths specifically to turn into outdoor cushions, and they looked incredible.

As always, every Cosy Buddha piece is hand block printed in Jaipur using traditional techniques, so no two are ever identical. These particular cloths simply have a few extra signs of the handmade process than I’m comfortable selling at full price.

Please note: Each tablecloth is different, and the photographs show examples of the kinds of imperfections you may receive. They are sold as clearance items and are therefore non-returnable unless faulty.

 

Approx. 150 x 270 cm, designed to drape beautifully over most 6–8 seater tables.

Pair with matching napkins or mix with our spot and stripe napkins for a relaxed, layered table. Matching tea towel also available.

The natural pigments will soften and mellow over time – part of their organic charm.

To keep your tablecloth at its best:

  • Hand washing is recommended.

  • If machine washing, use a delicates cycle at 20–30°C maximum.

  • Wash with mild detergent only – no bleach or harsh chemicals.

  • Air dry only, out of direct sunlight.

  • Do not tumble dry.

  • Iron on a cool setting, on the reverse side.

A word about washing...

Knitwear

You should wash your Cosy Buddha garments the same way you would wash your favourite woolly jumper - with care, and only when you really need to! These knits are made to last and with a little TLC you will be enjoying them for years to come.

A gentle wool or delicates wash will do the trick, or ideally hand wash with a wool or silk detergent. Ideally dry flat, and do NOT tumble dry!

Please note that these hand knitted socks do not have reinforced soles and are designed for wearing in bed and lounging. If you intend to be on your feet all day or on hard flooring, our hand felted slippers would be a more suitable choice. 

Block Print Cotton Bags and Pyjamas

Hand wash at no more than 30 degrees (ideally 20 degrees) or machine wash on a cool / gentle / delicates cycle.

Avoid scrubbing or wringing out the fabric. 

Dark coloured items should be washed separately and may take 2-3 washes to remove initial bleeding / excess dye.  

Use non-biological detergent.

Do not tumble dry.

Pull to shape and allow to dry inside out, away from direct sunlight.
