SECONDS Lobster Napkins

Fun, colourful and made for summer tables, these lobster napkins are hand block printed in Jaipur in a playful red and pink design.

These are all slight seconds and have been reduced accordingly. Each napkin has been machine washed here at home as part of our testing, so they are freshly laundered but are not being sold as completely new and unwashed.

During washing, I found that the red border fades a little, giving it a softer, slightly washed look. There may also be small printing irregularities, smudges or variations in colour from the hand-printing process.

None of this affects their use. They’re still gorgeous, cheerful napkins and absolutely perfect for everyday tables, picnics, barbecues and relaxed summer suppers when you don’t want to be precious about your linens.

A very good-looking second, just with a little more character than I’d allow at full price.

Care Note - Please Read

The natural pigments in our hand block printed cotton will mellow and soften over time, especially strong, deep colours. This is part of their handmade charm, but to keep your colours at their best for longer, wash sparingly and always very gently.

To keep your piece at its best:

• Hand washing is recommended.
• If machine washing, use a delicates cycle at 20-30°C maximum.
• Wash with mild detergent only: no bleach or harsh chemicals.
• Air dry only, out of direct sunlight.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Iron on a cool setting, on the reverse side.

With gentle care, your napkins will retain their handmade charm for years to come.
