These tablecloths are being sold as seconds because I’ve been particularly fussy with this batch. You may find the occasional smudge, uneven patch of print, little mark or area where the hand-blocked pattern hasn’t landed quite perfectly. Nothing that stops them looking beautiful on a table, but enough that I didn’t feel comfortable selling them at full price.
Every piece is printed entirely by hand in Jaipur, so variations are part of the process. Blocks don’t always meet perfectly, pigment can fall a little heavier in one spot than another, and occasionally a print has a mind of its own. It’s all part of the character of a genuinely handmade textile.

Care Note – Please Read
The red pigment used on the borders of these particular tablecloths does fade noticeably with washing, even on a gentle wash. This doesn’t affect their use, but the red will soften and become more muted over time. Please bear this in mind before buying.
To preserve the colour for as long as possible, wash sparingly, on a cold/gentle cycle with a mild detergent, and avoid soaking or tumble drying.
Seconds are priced accordingly and the small printing imperfections described above are not considered faults.
