These tablecloths are part of my Perfectly Imperfect Sale.
Each one has a cosmetic flaw that means it didn’t quite meet my standards for selling at full price. This might include a more pronounced tide mark, a small ink fleck, a print smudge, transfer marks from the pressing process, or hand block printing that isn’t quite as crisp or precisely aligned as I’d like.
As every tablecloth is printed entirely by hand, small variations are part of the beauty of traditional block printing. The tablecloths in this collection simply have imperfections that, in my opinion, go a little beyond what I’m happy to include in my main collection.
None of these flaws affect the functionality or longevity of the tablecloth. They’re simply cosmetic, and some marks may soften or disappear with washing.
I have photographed the flaw on each individual tablecloth so you know exactly what you’re buying.
Personally, I’d far rather these beautiful handmade pieces were used, washed, gathered around and loved than left sitting on a shelf. Whether yours ends up on your dining table, spread out for a summer picnic or transformed into something entirely new, I hope it brings you years of enjoyment.
